Brigadier Sanjay Agarwal, Sena Medal & Bar (Retd)
Brigadier Sanjay Agarwal, currently Advisor, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), has been the Security Advisor at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India; Advisor to the Govt of Seychelles and President of the Services Selection Board in the Govt of India. He headed the military assessment centre, assessed over 2,500 candidates and personally interviewed over one thousand candidates, one-on-one. He has been awarded the Sena Medal by the President of India twice for the capture of a Pakistan post held by Pak Para Commandoes in Siachen glacier, and for an operational reconnaissance on the Indo-China border in Arunachal.
In addition to training experience in India, he has been a trainer abroad for four years. He is a self-development coach and trainer in soft skills, motivation and personality development and a faculty for subjects relating to management, strategic planning, soft skills, hospitality and tourism.
Sanjay is a regular speaker on success in life, leadership, strategy, management and motivational issues in government, industry and academic circles including FICCI, corporates, Police and Army training institutions, IMT, Amity University, AIMA, T.I.M.E., JRE, AAFT, IBA, JP Institute, GLA University, College & School Management Boards.
He has been a mountaineer (Mt Everest, Mt Kamet, Gori Chen) and has done parachuting, skiing and led a 3,000 km cycling expedition. He is interested in travelling, photography, spirituality, acupressure and in helping young adults in self-development.
